General
We take great care to ensure a safe walking tour. But walking in the outdoors carries risk and we cannot accept liability for accident or injury which may occur on these walks. You are walking at your own risk. We advise you that you take out appropriate insurance cover for personal injury in the event of a mishap. A reasonable level of fitness is required to take part in a Moher Tours guided walk. Please inform your guide of any relevant medical conditions or ailments at the time of booking or prior to taking part in a guided walk. The weather in Ireland is changeable, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We recommend good, strong walking shoes/hiking boots, a waterproof jacket and hat, layers to keep warm if required, sunscreen, sunhat and adequate drinking water and snacks. We reserve the right to refuse a walker access to a walk if we deem footwear unsuitable or unsafe. Please listen to and follow any Health and Safety recommendations provided by your guide while on a Moher Tours walk. It is not recommended to bring children under 6 years on a Moher Tours Walk Dogs are not allowed on Moher Tours guided walks. We reserve the right to alter a walking route if walking conditions are deemed unsuitable for any reason. Please do not litter. We operate Leave No Trace and advise all our walkers to adhere to this code. Please park sensibly in recommended parking areas and do not obstruct gates or farm access.
Booking To reserve a place on one of our walking tours, prior booking is essential and full payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings can be made through our website using PayPal or by bank transfer once we have sent you an invoice. Group rates and tour operator rates are available and differ from those listed on the website. Please call us to discuss these rates.
Cancellation or Modification of a guided walk We endeavour to walk in all weathers but we reserve the right to cancel walks in the interest of safety if weather conditions are deemed inappropriate. You will not be refunded, but you may have the option to choose another date if available, within the year. Guided walking tours will take place dependent upon a minimum number of customers. Where the minimum number of customers has not been met one week prior to the start date, Moher Tours is entitled to cancel the walk. In the event that we have to cancel a walk for reasons other than weather related, the customer shall receive a full refund of the monies paid to us but will not be entitled to any further sum by way of compensation, damages or otherwise arising from said cancellation. This applies no matter when the walk is cancelled. Online booking will be refunded less charges once we receive written notice of cancellation a minimum of 14 days prior to the walk. In the event of late cancellation or no show (within 14 days of the walk date) there are no refunds.
Feedback and website information Any likeness of you secured or taken on any of our walks or any imagery/media which you capture and share with us (e.g. on social media) may be used by Moher Tours without charge in all media, for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes, including without limitation promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures or on the Internet. Please inform us if you have an issue with In the interests of continuing to offer the best possible standards of service, Moher Tours reserves the right to share, or not to share, any feedback or comments received from you. We provide links to third party web sites that are not under our control and we are not responsible for the availability of such sites or their contents. Transport You are responsible for your own transport to the start point of the guided walk. If transport is required, please contact us and we can advise accordingly.
